A detailed lesson plan booklet takes students through 3 lesson plans:
1. Using novel 90mm Petriscope Models and information in the lesson plan, students learn the basics of blood cell biology. 
2. Using models and biodegradable supplies, students learn qualitative defects and the changes in blood cells leading to disease. Students construct similar models and learn details of each disease. Supplies sufficient for 20 students are supplied
3. Using the same supplies and a macroscopic hemacytometer, students learn the quantitative differences between each disease, and key down unknown samples thus reinforcing their knowledge of the disease and learning quantitative biological approaches.
